Consultation has concluded

Mine View Road is a cul de sac approximately 110m long which intersects with Watts Road. At its southern end, it terminates in a cul de sac. The cul de sac adjoins the James Hammer Reserve, which also adjoins the nearby Playford Cresent.

A resident of Brukunga has requested the removal of the rocks which prevent vehicular access to James Hammer Reserve so that it can provide an escape route in the event of a bushfire.


To better inform a decision to either retain or remove the rocks, Council has resolved to undertake consultation with the local Brukunga township community seeking feedback on the proposal to remove the rocks and the pros and cons of doing so.

Please provide your feedback to be received by Council by 5.00pm Friday 20 May 2022.
