The Mount Barker District Council owns and maintains 33 playgrounds across the district. There is a total of 154 individual pieces of play equipment across the playgrounds. Council regularly inspects and maintains this equipment in order to provide safe playgrounds.
From time to time play equipment is replaced to ensure playgrounds continue to meet stringent Australian Standards and the requirements of the community. A rolling works program for playground replacement has been developed which is prioritised by the age, condition and compliance of equipment. Harrogate, Clydesdale Reserve and Anembo Park playgrounds are included in the 2020/21 program.
To ensure these playgrounds continue to meet the needs of the community, feedback is invited on the replacement of play equipment and the surrounding reserve area.
Please complete the survey below. Please note that submissions received may be available to the general public via a Council Report.
