Share your thoughts and ideas on Council's Community and Environmental Grants program
Council's Community and Environmental Grant programs have helped bring hundreds of community-led projects to life, supporting initiatives that strengthen and enhance our district.
Council is reviewing the grant guidelines to ensure the programs are effective, transparent and continue to deliver meaningful benefits for the community.
The review will implement recommendations from the 2023 Community Funding Review, including clearer assessment criteria and improved feedback processes for applicants.
Minor changes were made to the guidelines earlier this year in preparation for the 2026/27 round, with the main one being removing an 'average grant amount' of $2,500 in the Community Grant Guidelines, and instead introducing a maximum grant amount of $5,000.
