The Mount Barker District Council provides funding and other support to community groups, clubs, associations and organisations for projects and activities that deliver benefits to the community and enhance wellbeing. Many local community groups have participated in Council’s community funding programs to meet local needs.
It is good practice for all councils to review their programs and practices from time to time.
BRM Advisory has been engaged to assist the Mount Barker District Council undertake a review of its community funding programs. This review is an opportunity to consider whether the different types of funding support provided by Council remain in line with its strategic objectives, best practice in local government and the needs and interests of the community.
We are inviting you, the community, to tell us about your experiences, what is working well and where you think there are opportunities for change.
Completing the survey takes around five to ten minutes and we would like to hear from anyone who has an interest or idea about how Council can support local community groups, clubs, associations and organisations.
